Why this is happening is mind blowing! and certain to be a coding issue either in MySQL and/or WHM/cPanel which appears to have persisted for at least a year plus by the post of the cure by Daniel Black made regarding this issue
Talk about messing with ones head ... the system changes the configuration file on its own!
